Class of 2019 graduates Elim Zhang (master's, electrical and computer engineering) and Min Hwang (computer science) had never played the bagpipes prior to their first day on campus as freshmen at Carnegie Mellon University. On their commencement day, they played in the Pipe and Drums band for their final CMU performance.
