Chen Named Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society
Vanessa Chen, assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering, has been named the 2025-26 Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society.
The Solid-State Circuits Society Distinguished Lecturer (SSCS DL) Program provides experts in the Society’s areas of interest to speak at chapter meetings and regional seminars. Chosen lecturers, who serve for overlapping two-year terms, are deeply knowledgeable and excellent communicators. Chen’s talks will focus on AI-enhanced RF/mixed-signal circuits, high-speed ADCs, and secure IoT.
Chen’s research focuses on data conversion interfaces for machine learning, wireless hardware security, and ubiquitous sensing and communication systems. She received the NSF CAREER Award in 2019.
