Srimani Wins Best Paper at VLSI

Tathagata Srimani and team won the Best Student Paper Award at the 2023 IEEE Symposium on VLSI Technology and Circuits for their paper, “Foundry Monolithic 3D BEOL Transistor + Memory Stack: Iso-performance and Iso-footprint BEOL Carbon Nanotube FET+RRAM vs. FEOL Silicon FET+RRAM”.

Srimani recently joined the electrical and computer engineering department as an assistant professor. Before coming to Carnegie Mellon, Srimani was a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. He received the S.M. and the Ph.D. degrees in EECS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2018 and 2022 respectively, and the B.Tech degree in E&ECE from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2016.
