Ilic Recognized for Outstanding Engineering Career

Marija Ilic, Professor Emeritus of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been invited to join the prestigious Academy of Europe for her outstanding contributions in control and design of large-scale systems. The object of The Academy of Europe is the advancement and propagation of excellence in scholarship in the humanities, law, the economic, social, and political sciences, mathematics, medicine, and all branches of natural and technological sciences anywhere in the world for the public benefit and for the advancement of the education of the public of all ages in the aforesaid subjects in Europe. In addition to being accepted into The Academy of Europe, Ilic has also received the 2020 IEEE PES Outstanding Power Engineering Educator Award for contributions to mentorship and education on modeling and control in power engineering.
