Rowe’s Yodel Labs wins 2019 AlphaLab Gear Hardware Cup Regional Competition

Yodel Labs, a CMU spin-off co-founded by ECE’s Anthony Rowe, won the 2019 AlphaLab Gear Hardware Cup Regional Competition and $3,000 for its technology that uses sound waves to achieve indoor localization. This indoor positioning technology could have a range of applications, from navigation to augmented reality. The company will move on to compete for $50,000 in the international finals on May 15 in Pittsburgh. Read more here.
