Rowe quoted on CMU students' contribution to IoT field
Since billions of smart devices are already connected to the Internet of Things (IoT), many colleges and universities, like Carnegie Mellon, have been training the next generation of leaders in the IoT world. According to Anthony Rowe, students at Carnegie Mellon are developing solutions for real-world IoT applications. “Students think of wild ideas,” says Rowe. “They are so comfortable with the internet and social media. They have always had a cell phone in their hands. So while the older generation might think, ‘What problems need to be solved?’ These students are thinking, ‘What can we use technology for to make our lives better?’” Read the article.
