10th annual ECE Day

Schedule of events

ECE Class of 2016 Time Capsule 
11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., Hamerschlag first floor display cases
ECE Outreach will host the Class of 2016 in filling the 3nd annual ECE Day Time Capsule. Graduating students can bring notes, photos, flash drives, projects, small electronics/electrical parts (please keep electronics/projects to no bigger than post it note), etc. to place in the time capsule that will be sealed for the next 5-10 years.

Pizzapalooza
12:00 p.m., outside HH1107
*Must have an ECE Day wristband to receive food

Animal Friends Therapets
12:00-2:00 p.m., tent outside Hamerschlag Hall main entrance 
Relieve some pre-finals stress by spending a few minutes cuddling with some Therapets!
*Must have ECE Day wristband to play with dogs

Build18 Build-Your-Own Candy PCB 
2:00-5:00 p.m., tent outside Hamerschlag Hall entrance 
All candy supplies will be supplied for you. Build18 officers will vote on the top 3 designs. Winners will receive an Apple TV (1st place), Microsoft Surface (2nd place), and a Beaglebone Black (3rd place).

HKN ECE Jeopardy 
3:00-3:30 p.m., HH-1107 
Grab some friends and test your knowledge of ECE and CMU! Sponsored by HKN. Teams of 4.

ECE BBQ
4:00 p.m., tent on the Hamerschlag Mall 
Grilled Food (provided by ECE & ECE Student Organizations) Indian Food (provided by MAC) Desserts (provided by EGO) Dave and Andy’s Ice Cream (provided by HKN)

ECE Faculty & Staff Band Performance
4:15PM, Porter Hall Alcove
Come watch some of your professors and ECE staff rock out!
*This performance will be canceled in the event of inclement weather

Master’s “Class of 2016” Group Picture 
5:30 p.m., Hamerschlag Hall Main Entrance 
If you are a Master’s student participating in Commencement this May, come join us for this group shot that will be displayed on the Jumbotron at the Peterson Events Center during the ECE Diploma Ceremony. Meet near the steps to Hamerschlag Hall and wait for instructions.

Senior “Class of 2016” Group Picture 
6:00 p.m., Hamerschlag Hall Main Entrance 
If you are a senior participating in Commencement this May, come join us for this group shot that will be displayed on the Jumbotron at the Peterson Events Center during the ECE Diploma Ceremony. Meet near the steps to Hamerschlag Hall and wait for instructions that will come from the DJ tent.

*Note for graduating Ph.D. Students: Your headshot will be displayed on the Jumbotron during the ECE Diploma Ceremony. The ECE Communications Team will email you to request your headshot.
