Bio

Suryaprakash Kompalli (SP) conducts research in Image Processing and Pattern Recognition, with applications in medical imaging, mobile phone software, HCI, and software engineering. SP is also a senior mentor at INSOFE, and has co-founded two startups: Anova Research and Maxerience. He has previously worked at Microsoft, HP Labs, and Wayne State University. He also volunteers with NGOs, spending time to learn about rural education and health-care related challenges.
