Blanton Receives Distinguished Alumni Award

Shawn Blanton has received the 2024 Distinguished Alumni Award from Calvin University. Blanton, the associate department head for research and the Joseph F. and Nancy Keithley Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, graduated from Calvin University in 1987. He gained an enduring bit of wisdom at Calvin from his statistics and dynamics professor: “Learn as much as you can wherever you are.’ I’ve kept that philosophy,” Blanton says.
