ECE’s Ruizhou Ding, Zeye (Dexter) LiuRongye ShiDiana Marculescu, and Shawn Blanton recently received the Best Paper Award at the 27th edition of the Association for Computing Machinery’s (ACM) Great Lakes Symposium on Very Large Scale Integration (GLSVLSI). The team’s paper, "LightNN: Filling the Gap between Conventional Deep Neural Networks and Binarized Networks," was selected from nearly 50 papers presented at the conference. ACM’s GLSVLSI is a chance for developers and engineers to present research and attend sessions focusing on innovations in VLSI, devices, and system-level designs.
