I have the honor of serving as a Co-Director for two General Motors-Carnegie Mellon Collaborative Research Labs, one on Vehicle Information Technology and another focusing exclusively on Autonomous Driving.

The other Co-Director for both these laboratories is Dr. Nady Boules, Director, Electrical and Controls Integration Lab, General Motors Research. Dr. Boules is an IEEE Fellow, and was Director of R&D at Delphi before he returned to General Motors. He led GM's SunRacer team which won the first solar-driven automobile race in Australia.
