We plan on testing our sytsem using black box testing, white box testing, stress testing, performance testing, and testing throughput.

Black Box Testing

• Stand in front of kinect, and make big gestures
• Have people with different height make these gestures
• Have people wearing different color clothing while making these gestures
• Test the kinect at different distances
• Test the kinect with different amounts of light

White Box Testing

• Write unit tests and system tests

Stress Testing

• A lot of gestures in a short amount of time
• Test using large and small gestures

Response time of the system will be tested by measuring how long the Kinect takes to recognize gestures. This can be tested by having one person doing the same gestures over and over again. We plan on testing throughput time by seeing how long the Kinect takes to send data to the board, and how long the board takes to send data to the projector. We expect downtime to be around five minutes while we are re-filling the tub with water.
