ECE tours and information sessions for prospective undergraduate students are offered during the fall and spring semesters. Tours are led by current ECE students and provide insights into the ECE academic experience, campus life, and available metacurricular activities within the department. 

Fall 2015 ECE tour schedule:

Mondays: 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m.

Tuesdays: 12:00 p.m.

Wednesdays: 12:00 p.m.

Thursdays: 12:00 p.m.

Fridays: 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m.

Please note: The last day tours will be offered during the fall 2015 semester is December 11, 2015.  Tours also will not take place on Friday, October 23 (CMU fall break) and November 25-27 (CMU Thanksgiving break). 

Schedule a tour: To schedule a tour during one of the times listed above, please submit an ECE Undergraduate Visitor Request Form.  Any prospective undergraduate students and guests who cannot make it to one of our tours can stop by the ECE Academic Services Center at 1112 Hamerschlag Hall to pick up an information folder containing a self-guided "Undergraduate Walking Tour" pamphlet. This document will direct you to several undergraduate lab spaces located in Hamerschlag Hall. The ECE Academic Services Center is open 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. (Please note: On evenings and weekends, the lab spaces highlighted in the walking tour are not accessible without a Carnegie Mellon ECE student ID.)

Meeting location for tours: Tours will depart at the end of the 1100 hallway on the first floor of Hamerschlag Hall.  Look for the large clock at the end of the hall.  Your tour guide will be waiting near the clock.
