Rajkumar quoted in multiple outlets

ECE Professor Raj Rajkumar has been quoted in VergeLA TimesBloomberg, and News.com.au on the race to produce autonomous vehicles in the auto industry. "The average driver spends 51 minutes to and from work every day. This is wasted time and wasted productivity. Driverless cars would be a big win for productivity. You can spend 45 minutes doing something productive, including taking a nap,” he told the LA Times. While many automakers already offer semi-autonomous driving features like cruise control, polls show that many Americans are still skeptical about fully autonomous vehicles. According to Rajkumar, “Autonomous vehicles have to prove their mettle. And that’s going to take time.”
