ECE Professor Dressed in Bunny Suit for Honor Society's Easter Fundraiser

January 1, 2003

Don Thomas, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, taught class in a bunny suit as part of the Carnegie Mellon Mortar Board national honor society's Easter Bunny Fundraiser. He is pictured in front of Hamerschlag Hall with ECE senior Kah Kien Ong. All proceeds of the event went to Animal Friends.

Each semester the student group takes votes to have a professor dress up in a turkey suit (in the fall) or Easter bunny suit (in the spring) for class. Since students put the most money in Thomas' jar, he dressed up for 18-360, Introduction to Computer-Aided Digital Design. This semester there were seven candidates for the contest, including Carnegie Mellon President Jared Cohon.
