Bio

Tianyu Jia is an Assistant Research Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. He obtained the Ph.D. degree (with Best Thesis Award) from Northwestern University in 2019. Prior to joining CMU, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Harvard Architecture, Circuits, and Compilers group at Harvard University. His current research interests include domain-specific architecture for AI accelerators, heterogeneous SoC design and optimization, reconfigurable architecture, and energy-efficient power and clock management schemes.
