Secure Camera-based Ambient Networks (SCAN)
The SCAN project aims to explore the space of secure, low power and high performance wireless ad-hoc video networks. The networks envisioned with this project consist of tens to hundreds of self-managed, autonomous video nodes scattered throughout an indoor or outdoor environment, capturing, processing on, and transmitting relevant video data to other video nodes in the peer to peer wireless network. The research problems SCAN explores include secure and anonymous wireless routing, distributed power management policies, and resource-constrained video processing techniques.
