The Digital Sandbox is using WebEx
web and video conferencing software for collaborative
education and training. In the Sandbox Design Experience
course students gave weekly presentations and design
reviews over the web to their peers at the other three
universities, the Sandbox staff presented short hands-on
software tutorials with WebEx.
To attend a WebEx meeting you'll need a username/password
combination, plus you'll need to know the name of the meeting.
These can be obtained from Tom Kroll.
- Open Netscape or Internet Explorer (IE works better if you have it)
- In the Address Box enter the website:
sandbox.webex.com
(PLEASE NOTE: www. is not part of this address)
- In the LEFT column go under Attend a Meeting
and click on Browse Meetings
- In this window look for the meeting you'd like to attend under the
Topics column and select it
- In the next screen enter your password and click OK.
- Click JOIN NOW
