Rob A. Rutenbar is the Stephen J. Jatras (E'47) Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, and the Director of the FCRP Focus Center for Circuit and System Solutions (C2S2), one of five national research centers supported by the US semiconductor industry and US government.

The Rutenbar Group at Carnegie Mellon develops new techniques to model nanoscale integrated circuits, new tools to design analog, RF and mixed-signal systems, and novel silicon architectures for computationally challenging problems like speech recognition.
