Responsibilities include:

  • Setting up an Intro/tutorial web page
  • Setting up an interface to the vendor for questions that we don't know how to answer. Knowing who to contact for general software problems as well as technical problems.
  • Being aware when license renewals need to be made.
  • For software generally used by the group only (and sometimes by the entire department) volunteer yourself to gripe as a guinea pig to help them test newly installed software.
