I am an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. (Official Webpage) I hold a courtesy appointment in the Computer Science Department. My research interests are in computer architecture and high-level hardware description and synthesis. I received my Ph.D. in EECS from MIT in 2000 (S.M., 1994). I received my B.S. in EECS from UC Berkeley in 1992. I co-direct CALCM, and I am affiliated with CSSI and CyLab. I lead the OpenSPARC Center of Excellenceat Carnegie Mellon.

I teach ECE 18-240: Fundamentals of Computer Engineering this Fall. I have open office hours from 3:00 to 4:00pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. Additional office hours can be arranged by appointment.

I am representing ECE in the CMU Faculty Senate. Please contact me if you have feedback or suggestions.

I am in the process of converting my webpages to a wiki. If you don't find what you need here, try looking for it the old way.
