"Snack Night" Socials

"Snack Night" socials are held weekly in the ECE Undergraduate Lounge (HH 1113), typically on Wednesday nights from 8:30-10:30PM. HKN Sigma Chapter knows that Carnegie Mellon's ECE students are no strangers to late nights (or should we say early mornings?) in the cluster, so these socials serve as a good reminder to take a break and snack on chips, cookies, carrots and dip, soda, juice, and other tasty treats.

Snack nights for the Fall 2007 semester are sponsored by Bose Corporation.

ECE tours

Tours of Carnegie Mellon's Electrical & Computer Engineering are given by Eta Kappa Nu volunteers. They are free of charge, so feel free to take advantage of this opportunity to become familiar with the ECE environment and to ask questions.

Mentoring Program

Eta Kappa Nu's mentoring program pairs an ECE junior or senior with a less experienced ECE student (typically a freshman or a sophomore). The purpose is to create networks and non-academic relationships between peers. It is our hope that students will be able to get more out of their ECE curriculum and experiences at Carnegie Mellon through their interaction with a more experienced student.
