The EnyAC group's research covers various aspects related to novel computing
paradigms and computer-aided design (CAD) tools for energy, variability and
reliability aware computing. As opposed to static or point solutions to cope with
these challenges, we seek solutions that span the entire design abstraction
hierarchy from gate/circuit level to the micro-architecture and system level. In
particular, our goal is to efficiently utilize the available circuit/gate level
design knobs at the higher levels of abstraction to obtain designs that can
optimally adapt to process, environmental and workload driven variations while
minimizing the power consumption and maximizing system reliability. |
