How can we get the most valuable information from these projects?

This conference will bring together organizations receiving the grants with researchers who have noted current problems with the grid and what data are needed to improve operations, planning, and investments. The goal is to sharpen the design of the research and bring together researchers and grantees to get the greatest benefit from the stimulus funding - giving customers the reliability they want - and are willing to pay for.

The Carnegie Mellon Conference on the Electricity Industry is now in its sixth year of offering networking on timely topics, co-sponsored by the Carnegie Mellon Electricity Industry Center (CEIC), the Carnegie Mellon Departments of ECE, EPP, and the David A. Tepper School of Business, industry, and government. (See Archives link.)
