Baseline Application Description: Financial Stock Trading System which allows clients to register an account, recieve constantly updated stock ticker and buy/sell stocks owned by the client

Baseline Application Features:

• required - Clients can register a new account, add money (specify amount and send)
• required - Clients recieve stock prices updated constantly (Stock Ticker)
• required - Clients can buy/sell stocks at the price quoted on ticker
• required - Clients can recieve information of their buying/selling history and see current holdings
• required - Central server interacts with stock market mimicing server which confirms or rejects buy/sell orders
• optional - stock market server which randomizes stock price changes and sends to central server (instead of central server randomizing prices)

Reliability Requirements:

• required - Transactions preserved if system fails
• required - Client account information preserved and consistent if system fails
• required - Client transactions are guaranteed to be made in price last quoted

Real-Time Requirements:

• required - Client transaction occurs within 30 seconds
• required - Client account updated within 30 seconds of change (buy/sell/deposit/withdrawal)
• required - Ticker updated every 10 seconds
• required - Client history reported within 1 minute

Performance Requirements:

• required - Server can support 15 concurrent clients
• required - Server can handle 5 concurrent transactions
• required - System can register 1000 users
