geo-replay: Webserver Load Testing with Geographically Distributed
Request Patterns

ABSTRACT

This paper explores the design space and implementation of web-request
load testing with geographically distributed request patterns. Using a
combination of IP geolocation and geographically distributed cloud
data centers, geo-replay is able to replay web traffic by distributing
logged web requests to global data centers automatically. We present
the design and implementation of geo-replay and evaluate its efficacy
in a web server load testing scenario.
