With the deployment of 3G cellular phones hopefully in the horizon,
there is a need for increased capacity in wireless
networks. Space-time codes can be employed with multiple transmit and
receive antennas, which introduce spatial and temporal diversity
during signal transmissions to increase the capacity of the wireless
systems. This paper evaluates two such diversity schemes.
