Our project projects images, animations, and color on 3D objects placed on a table. Using a central embedded component we will track and detect objects and calculate perspectives to network over to "smart" projectors which will use image stitching to project the most accurate image on the objects present.
Our initial motivation came upon discovering that our universities architecture department spends over $140,000 annually on ink for their printers. With this in mind we are aiming to create a universal system for developers that cuts costs and materials, and creates efficiency in many different areas, architecture being just one. In this decade it makes more sense for presentations to be more interactive, and our product helps achieve that.
