TrashMate is a interactive trash collector aiming to enhance and simplify user experience with trash.
Recycling has been widely used as a effective way to prevent waste of potentially useful materials, reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, reduce energy usage, reduce air pollution and water pollution. However, manually recycling is not effective enough and well-implemented in the fast-paced society. Thus, a new generation trash collector with the ability to sort and recycle trash is needed. Also other features like odor control and presence detection can be good additions.
