Announcements (reverse chronological order)
- December 15- All remaining homework solutions and Test #2 solutions posted. Also be sure to see directions to the final exam.
- December 4- Lectures 1-10 .pdf files deleted to save space.
- November 5- Data for the problem set is here.
- September 25- On-line lab is up and running. Contact me by email for Mathcad help if you need it.
- September 20- The MOS capacitor for the on-line lab will be installed before noon on Thursday.
- September 17- The online lab has some probems. I will work on them on Monday.
- September 17- Some corrections made to homework assignment (clarified materials in the first problem, corrected chapter numbers). The intrinsic carrier concentration of silicon carbide really is very small.
- September 4- Mathcad 2000 (the current version) is available in all Windows clusters (see http://www.cmu.edu/computing/software/win_sw_tbl.html for list). As these clusters are available without the need to get a key (in constrast to HH A104) I recommend using these. Let me know if there is a problem. Also, there may be some incompatibilities between the existing posted Mathcad files and Mathcae 2000. I will check for these problems in advance but don't hesitate to tell me if I miss any.
