Device Picture The H.A.R.D.F.E.M.  is a device that accurately measures the energy consumed while a processor is executing instructions.  It has the capability to trigger off of external inputs so that the target processor can signal start and stop accumulation points.  This allows for easy energy profiling of specific test code.

We developed an ARM-7 profile testbench that runs using the H.A.R.D.F.E.M. This generates a profile of a few key instructions on the processors with an assortment of input vectors. The testbench can be found below under Source Code.
