The ECE Department grants two graduate degrees:
The Master of Science (M.S.), earned through either the Integrated Master's/Bachelor's (IMB) program, the Professional M.S. program, or the Ph.D. program; and,
The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).

AsSadhan selected as a King Abdullah Scholar
-
ECE graduate student Basil AsSadhan was selected as a King Abdullah Scholar with the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. An award ceremony was held on April 5th in Washington, DC to award AsSadhan and 16 other PhD students in the U.S. and Europe. AsSadhan is an advisee of ECE Professor José Moura.

ECE Team Takes Third Place in IC Design Challenge Phase One

ECE graduate students Abhishek Jajoo, John Reinke and Leon Wang have been awarded the 3rd prize in the Phase 1 of the 2007-2008 SRC/SIA IC Design Challenge. Their contest entry integrates their Ph.D. research in RF MEMS devices and circuits into an implementable design for "A Tunable Multiband RF MEMS Transceiver Front-End."

ECE Students Display Final Projects

Several ECE students completed final course projects, displaying skills in everything from using micrometer technology in Analysis and Design of Digital Circuits, to designing large digital systems for Advanced Digital Design Project, to examining thermal and power management in chip-multiprocessors in Advanced Computer Architecture.
