Air Force ROTC EE scholarship opportunities

The following unprecedented EE scholarship initiatives are effective immediately:

Air Force ROTC commanders may nominate any incoming freshman for the Express scholarship in EE per regulation and may early activate the scholarship during the winter or spring term if he/she achieves a 2.65 cumulative GPA at the end of the fall or winter term and meets all other activation requirements per regulation. This would mean $15,000 in scholarship dollars, $480 annual book allowance and $150 monthly stipend while in school.

Furthermore, commanders may nominate any rising sophomore students for the Express scholarship in EE per regulation and may immediately activate the scholarship if he/she has a 2.65 cumulative GPA and meets all other activation requirements per regulation. In fact if the rising sophomore has a 3.5 cumulative GPA, this scholarship may be worth in excess of $18,500, again the $480 book allowance, and $150 monthly stipend.

Finally, Air Force ROTC commanders are authorized to activate a $15,000 scholarship for any junior candidate majoring in EE. Activation can occur if the student has a 2.65 cumulative GPA and once he/she meets all other activation requirements per regulation.
