Master of Science in ECE
Teaching program
All students who are teaching must submit a Teaching Preference Form. For further details, please review the information below. If you have questions about the ECE TA program, please email Leona Kass-O'Rourke.
- Full-time IMB students with graduate standing are eligible for the IMB TA.
- IMB TAs need to register for 18-983(F) / 18-984(S).
- IMB TAs receive a scholarship equal to 1/3 of the tuition rate deposited into their student accounts.
- IMB TAs are assigned to work 10 hours per week.
- IMB TAs must maintain full-time status to keep the IMB TA scholarship.
(Includes part-time IMB students)
- MS TAs will be paid biweekly at an hourly rate.
- MS TAs will fill out time cards and have them signed by the course instructor.
Graduate Students
International graduate students interested in working as a TA must contact the Intercultural Communication Center (ICC) to register for the International Teaching Assistant (ITA) test at least one semester prior to applying for a TA position.
