The objective of this project is to construct a prototype board of a RF ranging system for the DARPA-funded Velocity Sensor Assisted Micro Inertial Measurement (VSAMIM) program. The project involves system hardware design for a ranging receiver that is being built at CMU. This includes the integration of a custom RF receiver, a transmitter, and a back-end ADC. It will be used to make real-time distance measurements. The project will involve close collaboration with several PhD students and a post-doctoral researcher.
