Project description

Wireless sensing of quantities such as temperature, humidity, and gas concentration is interesting in a number of applications. This project will investigate the wireless sensing of temperature using an interrogation pulse at RF frequencies (~13 MHz). A transmission line fabricated from discrete components will be used to separate temporally the pulses containing sensor information from the interrogation pulse. This project will include computer modeling of the transmission line, design of a printed circuit board, fabrication of the printed circuit board, and testing of the completed wireless sensor.
