The goal of this project is to model and experimentally characterize different techniques for wirelessly transferring power using coupled inductors. This project will involve designing and conducting experiments to measure the performance and efficiency of a given inductor configuration. Computer simulations will then be used to show equivalence with experimental outcomes. Additionally, support hardware will be designed and fabricated as needed. This will include RF power amplifiers to facilitate powering larger loads at greater distances. Resonator auto-tuners will also be designed to automatically capacitively load inductors for resonance.
