Undergraduate Academic Guide: Engineering Elective

Class of 2011 and earlier

One additional engineering/computer science course (12 units) is required. The Engineering Elective may be satisfied by any technical course in CIT:

• Chemical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Electrical and Computer Engineering (except 18-202)
• Materials Science and Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Engineering and Public Policy

Also allowed is any 200 or higher level course in Computer Science (except 15-251 and 15-351) or Robotics.

Class of 2012 and later

This reqirement has been removed from the curriculum.
