Brumley featured in Cyberscoop

David Brumley was interviewed by Cyberscoop in a feature article on his impact on education and the cybersecurity field. Brumley is known for his work in de-stigmatizing hacking, educating the best and brightest future computer scientists, engineers, and hackers, and coaching Carnegie Mellon's hacking team, Plaid Parliament of Pwning (PPP). Brumley is highly revered by students, academics, and technology executives. “The program he’s running at CMU is producing experienced graduates that typically would not have this kind of technical mastery without several years on the job,” said former NSA technical director Bryan Smith in the Cyberscoop article. “Brumley has broken down the art of memory corruption and exploit writing into a reproducible science.” Read the article here.
