CMU-SV research paper on crowdsourced earthquake early warnings featured in Science Advances

Carnegie Mellon University Silicon Valley researchers and collaborators were featured in the inaugural issue of Science Advances for their work on utilizing smartphone data as an early warning system for large earthquakes, particularly in areas that lack expensive conventional systems.

Their paper, Crowdsourced Earthquake Early Warning, made the publication’s top ten list and ranked number ten in metrics.
