MakerWing of Hamerschlag Hall

Carnegie Mellon University's College of Engineering is planning a transformative renovation of Hamerschlag Hall, representing a $23 million investment in students, faculty and the future. 

40,000 square feet will become a new MakerWing, integrating student-focused maker spaces, advanced manufacturing laboratories, collaborative research space and micro/nanosystems laboratories. It will create an epicenter of ideas becoming real solutions in the education/research fusion that only Carnegie Mellon can deliver.
