ECE Faculty Earn CIT Honors

Three ECE faculty members have received 2012 College of Engineering Faculty Awards.

  • David Brumley, the Gerard G. Elia Career Development Professor of ECE, earned CIT's George Tallmann Ladd Research Award for developing techniques for automatic exploit generation, formal methods and analysis to improve software system security.
  • The Benjamin Richard Teare Teaching Award was presented to Tanoto Professor of ECE Larry Pileggi for sustained excellence in teaching, mentoring and contributions to education in electrical and computer engineering.
  • Marija Ilic, professor of ECE and Engineering and Public Policy, received the Steven J. Fenves Award, which acknowledges significant contribution to systems research in areas relevant to the Institute for Complex Engineered Systems (ICES), for visionary research and education leadership in electric energy systems of the future.
