Umpei Kurokawa and William Wong who will graduate next week with Master of Science degrees, were partially funded this year with a fellowship from DRS-Signal Solutions.
DRS-SS specializes in the design and manufacture of a variety of communications-surveillance products. The company is providing these fellowships as part of its effort to recruit top notch M. S. degree recipients with an interest in communication systems, signal processing, embedded systems or analog/microwave circuit radio design.
The department is pleased to have worked with ECE alumnus Jeff Silvey on these fellowships. Silvey is manager of tactical applications research and development at DRS-SS.
