"Flexible Hardware Acceleration for Instruction-Grain Program Monitoring" a flagship paper from CALCM and collaborators at Intel Research Pittsburgh was presented at the International Symposium on Computer Architecture (ISCA) in Beijing in June, and will appear in IEEE Micro's special issue, "Micro's Top Picks from Computer Architecture Conferences." The edition collects the year's most significant research publications in computer architecture based on novelty and long term impact. The edition will be released in January/February.
A committee of industrial researchers and experts chose only a dozen manuscripts for the computer hardware periodical from ACM and IEEE computer architecture and system conferences in 2008. Co-authors of the paper are ECE graduate students Theodoros Strigkos and Evangelos Vlachos, faculty Babak Falsafi and Todd Mowry, and collaborators from Intel Research Pittsburgh and University of Texas.
