Paper Among Top 100 Cited by IEEE Xplore

A paper published by ECE research professor Markus Püschel and ECE professor José Moura is one of the Top 100 papers accessed in IEEE Xplore during the month of August. The paper, titled "Algebraic Signal Processing Theory: Foundation and 1-D Time," was published in the August 2008 issue of the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing.
The paper establishes a comprehensive new theory for signal processing that shows how to derive from a few key principles many classical and existing signal processing algorithms, as well as how to invent and derive new ones.
