ECE Department Head Ed Schlesinger has been elected Secretary-Treasurer of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Heads Association (ECEDHA). Schlesinger will serve a one-year term beginning July 1, after which he will be appointed for one-year terms as Vice President and then President of the association.ECE Department Head Ed Schlesinger has been elected Secretary-Treasurer of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Heads Association (ECEDHA). The first organization of electrical engineering department heads met 45 years ago and 47 schools were represented. Today, approximately 270 departments are represented.
The ECEDHA provides a forum for exchange of ideas and best practices among its members, and seeks to advance the field and improve communication with the profession, industry, government and others.
