On May 20, ECE awarded 22 doctor of philosophy, 108 master of science, and 177 bachelor of science degrees. Of the graduates, 21 simultaneously completed both the MS and BS degrees. Among the BS candidates, 78 graduated with university honors (a Q.P.A. of 3.5 or better) and 27 with college honors, completing an intensive senior honors research project.
ECE Department Head Ed Schlesinger led the ceremony, which included the presentation of eight awards. The name of each award, the criteria for winning and the recipients follow:
