ECE graduate student Saeed Aldosari won a best student paper award at the 2005 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing (ICASSP) for "Saddlepoint Approximation for Sensor Networks Optimization." The paper was coauthored with his advisor, Jos Moura, Professor of ECE & BME, and was listed in the sensor array and multichannel signal processing category. ICASSP was held in Philadelphia in March.
