Moura Selected for President Elect of the IEEE SPS

Jos Moura, Professor of ECE & BME, was elected President Elect (2006-07) of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Signal Processing Society (SPS), a group of approximately 25,000 signal processing professionals within IEEE. His term as president is the two year period from 2008-2009. He served before as Vice President for Publications of the society and as Editor in Chief of the Transactions on Signal Processing.
