Carnegie Mellon Network Nights Link Students With Alumni & Employers

December 15, 2004

On the last week of winter break, students will have the opportunity to attend Network Nights to connect with alumni on January 5 in Baltimore and January 6 in Boston and the San Francisco Bay Area. The informal receptions are designed to provide a convenient forum for alumni and students to meet Carnegie Mellon-affiliated employers.

Whether networking in their hometown or in a city they would like to move to for a job or internship, students can make real world contacts and ask for career advice. Building on the past success of similar evenings, this year even more potential employers will be invited.

The Baltimore program will be sponsored by Robert Ungaretti (E' 1970) at Raven Technologies in the Tide Building at Tide Point from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. Network Night Boston will be at the same time and is sponsored by Eric Giler (IM 1977) at Brooktrout Technology. Silicon Valley's event, from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m., will take place in the Crowne Plaza in the San Francisco Peninsula.
